The Carolling Xmas Choir

Singing is a joy. Whether your particular arena is from the safety of your shower cubicle, or maybe the stationary cupboard at work, belting out a tune or two is good for the soul... and c'mon, we all do it.

You may be thinking that to transfer this joy into the public domain, you must either a) have the vocal capacity to get you on to the X Factor live shows or b) embody rock 'n' roll prowess, complete with an asymmetrical fringe and obscure record collection. Neither of these qualifications are necessary, however, when you put yourself forward for The Carolling Xmas Choir.

It is a new group, headed up by husband and wife team, Matt and Alex Emmerson, who have previously lent their teaching talents to individuals in their solo singing lessons, but who now are looking to spread the joy...

Next Tuesday (6th Nov) sees the start of the seven-week course, which is open to all abilities. The only predisposition you need, is a love of Christmas. Taking the best loved Christmas tunes, the singing group will be fully ensconced in the Christmas spirit by the end of the course on December 18th.

The choir will meet at EPIC Studios, on Magdalen St every Tuesday at 7pm until 8:30pm. For details on the cost of the sessions and more info, call 07899 070103 or email Alex at alex@norwichsinginglessons.co.uk.
