There’s still time to catch the Norwich Theatre Royal pantomime Sleeping Beauty which runs through until January 15. Hayley Tamaddon (Dancing On Ice, Emmerdale) takes on the lead role in the hit festive family production, which promises lots of laughs, superb dance numbers and some stunning laser effects. If you like a real feelgood night out, there are still tickets left….oh yes there are…for the show which also stars Kevin Sacre (Jake Dean in Hollyoaks), Helen Fraser (Sylva ‘Bodybag’ Hollamby from Bad Girls), popular panto dame Richard Gauntlett and Norwich’s own comedy stalwart André Vincent. The classic thriller An Inspector Calls then returns to Norwich Theatre Royal on January 17-21. The man behind Billy Elliott – Stephen Daldry – presents the multi-award winning production of JB Priestley’schiller, which celebrates its 20th year on stage. Expect raw emotion, chilling suspense and some stunning staging. Then get ready for some lavish dance numbers and a feel-good night out as the Norfolk and Norwich Operatic Society present Hello Dolly on January 23-28. And if air guitar and head-banging is more your style, the Classic Rock Show bursts onto the Theatre Royal stage on January 29 with a host of musicians playing anthems from some of the biggest rock albums ever. Expect everything from The Eagles and Led Zep to Elton John and AC/DC.
