The BFG

"Live action" remake of Ronald Dahl's phizz-whizzing adventure yarn. It's enjoyable enough for the 8-10 year olds, but parents of a certain age will hanker for the 1989 animated version and Spielberg fans will wonder what the heck he's up to.

Jason Bourne

Get back to your farm Hawkeye! Matt Damon wants to be Bourne again, and he's got a more bankable face than you have. Sadly it's not even close to being the best in the series, but it's enjoyable enough popcorn espionage all the same.

Finding Dory

Mental health allegory for the grown ups, pretty fish for the kiddies, in this sequel that nobody asked for. Not classic Pixar by a good few fathoms, but still way better than most of the animated blockbusters doing the rounds.

Game of Thrones: Season 6

"Winter is coming", "You know nothing", "For the watch" etc. If you don't know what these phrases mean, then shame, shame, shame on you. Catch up with The Biggest TV Show Of All Time™ before its explosive conclusion.
