A Christmas Carol - Preview

This December vintage city establishment Biddy’s Tea Room is partnering with The Keeper’s Daughter Theatre Company to present Charles Dickens’ classic festive ghost story A Christmas Carol.

The Keeper’s Daughter are a Norfolk based professional theatre company and have toured this classic festive ghost story across the region to sold out venues. The company has a track record of making theatre for unusual spaces and never has a venue been more suited than Biddys’. Charlie Buchan, owner of Biddy’s said:

“I’m delighted to have this show at the tearoom. Biddy’s is Victorian in style and this story is quintessentially Victorian. It’s perfect for our first foray into theatre! Biddy’s is said to be haunted so a Christmas ghost story sounds ideal.”

“As a nationally touring actress it’s always lovely to bring theatre to my hometown, particularly at Christmas. I’m yet to perform in a tearooms so it will certainly be a unique experience!”

The Keeper’s Daughter bring physical theatre, comedy and spooky drama to Biddy’s throughout December. The show takes place upstairs at Biddy’s Tea Room, Norwich, and there will be accessible performances on ground level at Biddy’s Kitchen, Aylsham. Booking is essential as space is limited.
