McFly Rock n Roll Circus

McFly performed their last gig of the summer before they go on tour at the Rock n Roll concert in Earlham Park, Norwich and it was a smash hit.

Before the band entered the stage there was a buzzing atmosphere with the audience singing out 'Living on a prayer' by Bon Jovi with such power it felt more like pleading the boys to come out and play.

With smoke filling the stage and lights low, the band emerged welcomed with roars of screams and applause. The concert opened with 'Where did all the guitars go?', released 2023, setting the mood of a high energy, fast paced evening.

The unusually hot August day was complemented by the boys’ beach-feel look. Tom Fletcher wore sunglasses along with a flowing white shirt and denim flares. Danny Jones had a blue and white striped shirt resembling a beach chair and Dougie Poynter had on denim dungarees with a white shirt. This relaxation was all juxtaposed by the power and energy put in their performance.

Throughout their show the band played a mix of their newer and older songs even playing their first ever song '5 colours in her hair'. In homage of the great bands history as it turns 22 this year.

Over an hour and a half their energy never stopped. Through 'Star girl' all guitarists joined in a kick line and Mr Fletcher jumped around in circles while playing his solo.

A heartwarming moment was during 'That girl' when Mr Fletcher and Mr Jones leaned their heads on each other's shoulders while playing guitar. The love the band members have for each other couldn't be stronger.

McFly showed their love for their fans while performing 'It's all about you', Harry Judd invited a few kids on the stage to help him play the drums. A memorable moment I'm sure they will never forget.

The band outdid themselves creating a night of energy, passion and love for each other and their fans.
