For the Kids

If you’ve just survived October and yet another Half Term holiday with your kids / nieces / nephews / younger siblings or other small people in your life, whilst not having a clue what to do with them, next time, remember your local library. Each of Norfolk’s libraries holds groups and activities ideal for the mini-me in your life, from regular story time, to Baby Bounce and Rhyme Time groups – which dispel the myth that libraries are silent tombs by learning through song – and visits from childrens’ authors. Last month, the Millennium Library played host to The Gruffalo itself, so you never know who might be popping down! OK, children’s laureate and Gruffalo author, Julia Donaldson came down too, but you must know which one got us excited! For details of all the libraries’ events around the region, go to www.norfolk.gov.uk/libraries
