Panda Bear Meets The Grim Reaper

It is unfortunate that 'Panda Bear Meets The Grim Reaper' is nothing more than a car wreck you simply cannot look away from. Almost every track on the album sounds as if it were submersed underwater - an effect which should certainly be picked up by their studio team during production.  The album sounds as if a kid stumbled upon an old Casio keyboard and his drunk uncle felt it was appropriate to sing along to the chaos created - see: 'Mr Noah'. Lead singer, Noah Lennox is completely unrecognizable through the pointless sound effects applied to the music and the vocal tracks, which spurt out a irritating whine. This is clearly an attempt to seem intense and profound on an artistic level and once again, the album fails at doing so. 'Tropic of Cancer' offers a slight touch with reality - which is most certainly desired at this point - leading with classical instruments which are light and airy. With every play of each track, the desire to live seeps out every music lovers soul.
