Elle

One evening Michèle (Isabelle Huppert), a successful CEO of video games company is brutally assaulted and raped by a masked intruder. Having lost faith in the police years earlier, she resolutely vows to discover the identity of her attacker. Brilliant unflinching and surprisingly funny.

Kong: Skull Island

You know the drill. Explorer assembles expedition, expedition travels to Skull Island, expedition struggle with exotic flora and fauna and a giant ape shows up periodically to smash seven bells out of everything. Usual Kong fare through an Apocalypse Now filter.

Beauty and the Beast

Emma Watson develops Stockholm Syndrome whilst being held prisoner in a remote castle, eventually falling for her captor, a hideously deformed man that talks to furniture. Just kidding, this is another Disney live action remake that doesn't stray far from the original. Enjoyable but pointless.
