Grant Ley - Horizons EP

Grant Ley - Horizons EP

Grant Ley releases his new EP Horizons in November, and we got a cheeky sneak preview. All that can be said, is that you’re in for a treat. Sitting firmly in the singer/songwriter genre, he tells stories and writes from the depths of his soul.

The lead single from the EP Single String is a tale of relationships, and what ties everything together, whilst the monster chorus of Anywhere will have you singing (or shouting) along before you realise what’s happening. Grant’s vocal tones are quite soft, but his voice has an underlying power that can be unleashed when needed, and while this EP is just four tracks long, it’s more than enough to make a lasting impact. In fact the only negative thing I can say about this EP is that it’s not an album. It’s over all too soon and leaves you gagging for more, much more. His song writing is very good too, and each song draws you in. This EP forces you to listen rather than hear, and you find yourself hanging on every word.

Move over Ed Sheeran, there’s a new kid in town, and his name is Grant Ley.
