Alice Lily

It’s been an amazing year for Alice-Lily already and we are so excited to see where her beautiful music takes her.

Alice Lily

Alice-Lily is an 18 year old student and singer-songwriter based in Norwich. We were absolutely blown away when we received her track ‘Normal Paradise’ back in October. The song exposed us to her incredible vocal abilities, raising hairs with her effortless runs and emotive performance.

Alice-Lily says that she began her musical journey aged two when she sang a solo of silent night at her school nativity. As a teenager, she started making her own original music on a computer, burning the tracks onto CD’s to give to her friends. The lockdown allowed her to hone in on her craft, experimenting with new sounds and themes in her music. Self-producing her songs and writing about topics including COVID-19 reflections, racial prejudice and worship music, Alice-Lily has created a really unique style of pop music.

Her skills as a producer, singer and songwriter have been cemented by her brand new single
‘Durag’, the first track of hers to be released on all platforms. And we definitely aren’t the only ones to fall in love with this track! After being selected as one of 72 UK-wide tracks shortlisted for the Radio 1 Live Lounge Introducing competition in April, ‘Durag’ has also received play from Gemma Bradley on BBC Introducing on Radio 1.

Sadly we haven’t had the chance to see Alice-Lily live yet, but we were treated to an incredible virtual performance as part of Radio 1’s Live Lounge Introducing. She’s set to play in the real world soon - with a gig lined up at this years Wild Paths Festival in October!
