Take Away services, Gigs & Events and other useful things
We are all familiar with the usual take-away services, but now is not a usual time. Of course there are heaps of good Fish & Chip shops that I am sure many of your normal take aways, but there are some new entrants. Many pubs and other businesses providing a take-away collection and /or delivery services. Also other businesses doing their bit to help in the community.
So we have picked a few highlights of some of the things we are aware of from some of those lovely Norwich businesses, click on the links to find out more
Gonzo's are doing deliveries of food and drink, simply contact them on their FB for options

Rumsey Wells for all your pie needs and accompanied beer This service will be launched from next week (15th Apri) keep aware via their website but basic details are
“Hey Norwich our pals over at @sixrow have started up a same day delivery service for Norwich and the Rumsey Wells will be supplying the Pieminister pies to ensure that we can all get our pie fix 👌 it’s a pretty slick service with beers and pies to your door in under 3 hours from order with completley contactless delivery and robust protocols for sanitising and social distancing."
3 hour same day delivery in NR1 - NR7 and next day for 15 mile radius. Minimum order £15 with 5% discount for orders over £50 and 10% over £75. PLUS a free pie on every order for NHS staff.

Gigs and Events.
It is an ever changing world at the moment with gigs and events being rescheduled or cancelled. Our best advice is to go to the respective websites for each of the venues for the latest information.

Norfolk and Norwich Festival has been put back to next year, Red Rooster Festival hope to hold their festival later this year, Thetford Forest Live’s concerts have been cancelled and the list will continue to grow.

Community Focus.

Yes The Brickmakers have started their own internet radio station to allow people to still listen to live music. Recognising the theraputic, pleasure and community role of music, The Brickies are trying to help keep that oasis in our lifes. If you are a local band and want to have your music considered for airplay (you do not need to have previously played at The Brickmakers) simply email brickmakerslive@gmail.
