Moorish Falafel Bar
Overall if you are looking for a meal that is tasty, fun and creative Moorish is the place to go.
Moorish do things a bit differently for food delivery and we loved it. They deliver on Thursday, Friday and Saturday between 11am and 3pm. You can order online by submitting your order by 5pm the day previous.
Online they offer meal kits for 2 people (£15) or 4 people (£27) with an array of extras ranging from a vegan salted caramel cake (£2.95) to an extra wrap (£1). They also offer drinks, none of which come in plastic bottles I was thrilled to hear, we ordered two Brewdog Punk IPAs (£3 each).
The meal kits come with everything you need to make a falafel wrap at home, we really enjoyed this as you can make the wrap exactly how you want it with quality ingredients. It also means you can pimp your wrap with anything you happen to have around the house that you like, I am a sauce addict so added extra ketchup and sweet chili along with some gherkins. Once you have assembled your wrap you can put it in the oven and heat it up, this only took us about 5 minutes – then its ready to eat!
Holy fuck was it good? I have never eaten there before and honestly this was my first experience of a falafel wrap (blasphemy for a Vegan I know). We had some Dolma (£1.50) to snack on while we were waiting and had our beer with the meal.
Overall if you are looking for a meal that is tasty, fun and creative Moorish is the place to go. Prices are very fair; I would rate at a 8/10. Food quality, content and taste would be 8/10 as we both really enjoyed this. I can’t see what more you would want from the menu, although it isn’t huge with a massive variety, this falafel bar has gone above and beyond to make this healthy eating take away available to everyone.
